Wat een ontzettend fijne tent! We hebben super lekker gegeten. Verse pasta em pizza. Leuke sfeer met enthousiast personeel! Ze maken leuke grapjes met ons en ook met elkaar. Dit maakt het gezellig om te blijven zitten.

One of the best places in Amsterdam! I have Celiac disease and the gluten free pasta is to die for. I have not gotten sick the two times we went! The staff are so fun and attentive. The outside patio is a perfect dinner date vibe. Will be one of our first stops when we are able to make it to Amsterdam again! AN ABSOLUTE MUST TRY!!! (Prices are phenomenal as well)

Honestly one of if not THE best dinner experience I've ever had. The food was amazing; appetizer, main entrees, cocktails, and even dessert!! The service was wonderful; super polite and few jokes!!! The overall atmosphere of the place made everything come together to create the most delightful dinner I've had in my life!!!

I didn’t realize this was a tourist street, but even then, I’d expect a minimum level of quality — and this place fell far below that. I had read high reviews beforehand, so my expectations were reasonable, but the reality was shocking.
I ordered the frutti di mare, but all I could manage to eat was the spaghetti — the seafood was terrible. It had a strange taste, and the tiny bits of shrimp and other ingredients felt cheap and low quality. I couldn’t finish it and felt unwell afterward.
Honestly, I found myself wishing I had gone to McDonald’s instead — and I never eat at McDonald’s. That says it all.
The ambiance didn’t help either. Very basic, no charm or atmosphere, and extremely loud.

A Pleasant Surprise!
We had a really good experience here — the Italian food was delicious and the service was exceptional! The pasta was tasty, though it could’ve used just a touch more sauce. Overall, a great spot with warm, attentive staff. A pleasant surprise and definitely a place we’ll visit again!

Exceptional food and service. All staff (in particular Domenico) went truly above and beyond. We were made to feel respected, cared for, and above all else well fed. I am considering moving to Amsterdam to eat here every night. If I could give one critique- make this restaurant a global chain!

I liked the food very much and after I ordered incorrectly, another dish was brought to me, which was extremely tasty... the cabonara I ordered wasn't bad, but it had cream instead of egg and therefore couldn't be compared to an original cabonara, but that was also on the menu, but I misread this fact

Nora was amazing, gave us an lovely evening and was really nice with our kids as well. Highly recommend the burrata, and the pizza Siciliana and the Pepperoni. They serve chili on the side as well, to spice up your pizza.

This place was fantastic. From the service to the food and the atmosphere. It really gives you the feel of being at someone's home. I highly recommend this place to anyone. We had the Quattro Stagioni pizza and it was delicious. We also had the Tiramisu for dessert, homemade and a must have if your a fan. Definitely a place to come back to.

Gostaríamos de dar mais de 5 estrelas se fosse possível. Estávamos a procura de um restaurante para almoçar e felizmente passamos pela Casa di Sérgio. Ambiente acolhedor e aconchegante. Wonderful place to eat in Amsterdam. The food is flavorful, fresh, and plentiful. The atmosphere is dreamy and welcoming. The service is friendly, inviting, and informative. Een heerlijke pasta gegeten. Zoon van de eigenaar nog even gesproken over de oorsprong van het restaurant. Erg leuke tent en goed én genoeg te eten voor een goede prijs. Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen om de volgende keer een pizza te eten. Daarna weer een andere pasta.
De tiramisu was ook lekker.
Je kunt echt goed eten en drinken voor zo'n 40 euro per persoon.

That bald italian waiter was racist. Me and my baby are pushed out of the restaurant, after I ask can I get a table. He asked us to wait outside and we did for 40mins no one is approaching us even though that man is going back and forth. There are many table left empty. This man is looking at my husband from head to toe as if we don’t have money (maybe because he is wearing sandals in a cold night, but it’s because of his injured feet). We know that we’re asian but we do have more than enough money to pay for your food.

Italian restaurant with a variety of pasta sauces. Fast service. They also give you the possibility of gluten-free fusilli with any sauce on the menu. All very rich. The only thing that would improve is the temperature of the place because it gets very cold when they open the door. In the end we ate with our coats on.

Service was good, atmosphere was lovely, real shame for the food - as Italian myself I can say the food did not taste authentic, ingredients of low quality, the carbonara was a disaster (wrong ingredients and badly cooked), pizza was undercooked… such a shame the place has so much potential.

I’ve been coming here for about 5 years now, and I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite places. The owner, Marcello, is such a warm and kind-hearted man—more than just an owner, really. He always takes the time to chat and make you feel at home. Marcello hires staff who share his same energy, and the entire team is incredibly welcoming and genuine. It’s like a family here! One of the best services ever received, we were welcomed before even asking for a table, we didn’t have to wait any time and the food was served within 10 minutes, plus; it was delicious. The waiters were the kindest most genuine servers I have ever met:) big big thanks to the woman serving us (I forgot her name) and to Marcello for creating such a humorous atmosphere. We will mist certainly come back. I surely recommend this restaurant to anyone it’s cheap AND really delicious AND nicely located:)

Case di Sergio is a great little Italian option right in the heart of Leidseplein. Our server had such a fun personality and added to the restaurant's lighthearted atmosphere. The pastas are the stars here, with all manner of different ravioli. We tried a few that were great.

We had a lovely time at Casa di Sergio! We were warmly welcomed, got our drinks and food quickly and it tasted delicious! The ambience is also rustic, the route to the locations is rather adventurous. But maybe it's also a matter of taste! All in all: really tasty and an all-round great experience!

To make sure that he will get only one star from us, he even had the brilliant idea of touching us and pushing us out when we said that we will leave.

Yesterday, my friends and I were kicked out of this restaurant for drawing. Before that, we ordered food, when we finished it, our plates were taken away, we drank cocktails, which we also bought here, but the waiter didn't like it and said "you can't sit here anymore". He could have kindly explained something but said "this is my business and other people want to sit" even though the restaurant was completely empty inside. We wanted to make another order, but we were told "no service" and refused to serve us. Our visit at that time was less than one hour. It was very unexpected for me personally, because I often visited this place. I constantly invited new guests here, I brought friends and family. Also, I work in the field of working with people and I have always recommended this restaurant to my clients. You got a lot of clients from me. It used to be my favorite restaurant because of the delicious food and the friendly and helpful service, but I won't be able to come here again because I'm afraid we'll be kicked out again. Good luck

We have always enjoyed visiting your restaurant, bringing friends and family along. We always appreciated your excellent service, your smiles, and your kind jokes. Recently, my wife and her friends decided to spend an evening at your place, confident that they could always have a great time there. Unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a disappointment. They were asked to leave the restaurant after just an hour because they were drinking cocktails and painting. Courtesy and friendliness were replaced by a desire for money, and they were refused further service. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will no longer visit your restaurant, even though it has long been our favorite spot in Amsterdam. I wish you good luck and hope that in the future, you will treat your loyal customers better.

Gluten free Italian, offered pasta for gluten free needs and an appetizer of GF crackers and garlic butter. Service was fabulous, food serving sizes quite large for typical European food. Atmosphere was not ideal as it’s in an alley, across from clubs. Fit the ticket for our hungry family and appreciate the great service.

We stopped in for lunch and were absolutely blown away by the food and the fun atmosphere! Service was fantastic and my mushroom penne and caprese were to die for. They even had gluten free pasta for my girlfriend which was by all accounts fantastic. Highly recommend stopping by for a great lunch or dinner option!

Only one toilet for women but it's spotlessly clean and the general vibe and atmosphere is super fun and chill!
Seats inside, upstairs and a pretty big patio area.
10/10 would recommend!

As an Italian I can say that the food here is really good!!! We had a pizza (good) and a lasagna (good)! Average prices and helpful staff!

Fantastic place! We needed to go back our last evening for a second time. The service, the atmosphere, the FOOD! Like the kids said: -”It is a portal to Italy - we are basically in Italy now.” Just don’t forget to try their tiramisu!

Nice and welcoming place. We eat well. Prices normal for Amsterdam. I went there with my family and I had a very good time. Also because the cuisine of the Netherlands doesn't have much to offer. As for the cuisine, the food here is good. Seeing is believing.

A real Italian restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. A friendly, festive and almost family atmosphere thanks to a wonderful team.
We dined there on the evening of my partner's birthday and I just asked for a small candle on his dessert.... I never thought that the room would go dark, that the waiters would sing and that my partner would have a huge slice of cake with candles and other decorations.
We had dinner there twice and it was great.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible experience. Marcelo - one of the owners there- took care of our group personally by sharing stories of the Netherlands, making wine suggestions to pair with our delicious meal and all with that signature dry sense of humor that properly represents the area. Everything you’re looking for in a night out with friends for a memorable European experience. Has gluten free pasta too!

Despite being King's Day on our visit, the food was delicious, staff friendly and welcoming. They were busy but no corners cut. Excellent place to eat in Amsterdam.

My friends and I came here for our last meal in Amsterdam and it was perfect. All the staff were so lovely to us and chatted with us as well. The food was unbelievable and we all loved it. They even catered for my gluten free + dairy free friend and gave her gluten free bread as well. It was an amazing experience and I’ll definitely visit here again when I visit Amsterdam. Definitely the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten!

Started out here for dinner with an order of olives, Baguette with herb butter and a very good bottle of Italian red wine. Staff were very good and attentive to our needs. For my entree I chose an old stand by that many love spaghetti bolognese which did not disappoint is was good and very filling. I finished supper with a very good cafe latte, if in Amsterdam again I would return to try something else from their menu.

This was the best food I had in Europe! My husband and I got an appetizer, entree, and dessert and everything was perfection. We brought our 8 month old son with us and the servers were incredibly accommodating. Service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was family friendly and welcoming. The Tiramisu was to die for!

The food was nice and the service was efficient and friendly. Although my wife found the wait staff a bit overbearing I personally didn't mind. The pizza was good but not the tastiest around hence the 4 stars and my wife felt the same about her pasta. Would recommend and would visit again.

Great food. Went twice. Enjoyed the tomato soup, bruschetta, pesto penne, mushroom ravioli, spinach ravioli with pesto and the heavenly homemade tiramisu. Marcelo’s service was friendly and he had good recommendations.

The food was good (especially the sun dried tomatoes) and the portions are also good for the price. The main dishes came out a bit slow - about 30 min after our appetizers. The stairs are very steep. The staff have a very fast-paced vibe but were friendly.

Found the best Italian restaurant in Amsterdam on holiday there! Everything was so nice Clean and the Food was Amazing! Everything is homemade! We went there 2 times and the second was a complete surprise as my family visited with us. It was such a relaxing dinner, excellent beverages and really great prices! I cant wait to go back! Hiding in plain sight. If you want the best lasagna you've ever had in your life, give Case Di Sergio a try. Their truffle ravioli is mind-blowing, and I'm sure everything else they serve there is just absolutely fire 🔥 very well done 👏

To start with the positives, that is about the food, they have good selections and varieties, their portions are big and satisfying and the taste is good, not super wow as other Italian places but still good.
The staff are helpful, but always in a rush, as if they are making you finish the eating quickly to leave.
Location is super crowded since the restaurant is next to bars, and it wont make you leave in a comfortable mood since the noises are too much.
I personally wouldn’t try it again.

This has to be the best Italian I have ever eaten. It was beautiful. The calamari was to die for. The batter being so light. Staff were very friendly and the place was busy. A group of Japanese diners had to be led outside halfway through their meal as they were all stoned. They spent the majority of our visit throwing up outside and the staff constantly cleaning up after them. From ordering to food being delivered to the table was quite fast. Would definitely go again if I go to Amsterdam again.
